This collection highlights my work in typography and branding. I analyzed and told a visual story about the Futura font. I created my own font called pixelbit, created posters for an organization and and showcasing my personal brand in a well designed layout. This is a collection of different projects ranging from motion to graphic, icons to illustrations, book layouts to UX/UI. I engaged in each of the projects with similar processes including research, conceptualization, design and creation. I allowed myself to be challenged in each of the projects to make each one unique and to gain new skills. This collection, while not comprehensive, spans my career as a design student and as a freelance designer.
This is a collection that demonstrates my wide range of design style and capability. I designed food based icons for an app and a look book for a redesign project for a regional transportation district. Logos that I created freelancing and a conceptual app that helps the user understand healthy snacking at specific times of the day are also included. This app also provides recommendations depending on the user's diet.
This is one example of motion design. The challenge was to address a social problem occurring within a community. In this community, there was an increase in hit and run occurrences. Most PSA’s addressed the pedestrian and giving guidance on how to be safe walkers. What about the drivers? I chose to address the driver and use a comedic shame based tactic that would call out those that would drive off after hitting a pedestrian.
